February is here and as always it is a fun month for us here at Montessori & Music Daycare Center. The weather might be cold outside, but we are having fun learning and participating in many activities.
February 7th is National Wear Red Day – We will wear red in support of women’s heart health and raise awareness of cardiovascular disease.
The Super Bowl will be on Sunday, February 9th so we will celebrate Wear Your Favorite Jersey Day on Monday, the 10th of February.
We will celebrate Valentine’s Day by each class enjoying a party, activities, singing, and sharing valentines with their classmates.

Presidents Day is February 17th, and the classes are learning about the President of the United States and what he does. They will learn who our very first president was as well.
One of the most fun weeks we celebrate here at the daycare is Dr. Seuss Week. We will celebrate each day by focusing on a different Dr. Seuss book. These are childhood books that have been around since 1937. The first children’s book he wrote was “And to Think I Saw It on Mulberry Street.” We love to read Dr. Seuss books in our classrooms!
