June is a busy time here at Montessori & Music Daycare Center. We celebrated the graduation of the pre-kindergarten children. Our theme was Oh! The Places You’ll Go by Dr. Seuss. This book talks about no matter what, there is potential to dream big and go whatever direction you choose in life. In spite of roadblocks, difficulties, or even wrong choices, they can make good choices that will take them to great places. We have prepared them, and they are ready to go. Congratulations to all of the graduates!
We will celebrate Father’s Day by having Donuts with Dad. The Primary classes will sing and enjoy donuts and milk with their dads. Happy Father's Day to our dads!
June also marks the beginning of Summer Camp. We have so many fun events planned. This summer we will be learning about reptiles and even get the chance to touch them. The children will have a foam party, enjoy a visit from a shaved ice truck with ice cold refreshments, go on some field trips, and even a pirate bouncy house. Each week will provide a different theme with activities to support the topic. We will also be having bicycle days again, which was a camp favorite last year.
June marks the beginning of summer. It is our goal to have fun and enjoy the outside while continuing to learn. Have a great summer!
