March is a fairly quiet month around here as far as activities go. We just came off of a week of celebrating Dr. Seuss and that was fun. Each class chose the themes to celebrate every day, and they ended the week with a party in honor of Dr. Seuss’s birthday.
We look forward to St. Patrick’s Day when we celebrate Irish culture and history. The children love looking for the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Every year a little leprechaun leaves gold coins around the building to be found throughout the day; and this year will be no different.
We continue offering extra activities for the children to join throughout the week. We have another soccer session starting in April, and we offer acrobatics and the Spanish language as well. I love it when they come to my desk to tell me “Adios” or “Hola, me llamo…”, because I see how proud they are for learning a new language.
Here at MMDC we offer a well-rounded program for children, infants through age six. It is important to allow them to experience many activities and aspects of learning to challenge their young minds.
